DesertShore Flyin' Irish, HSAs
"Jet"
Owned and loved by Debra Bessett-Fuller, Peoria, AZ

Jet is a big, handsome boy with a beautiful head and a generous heart. Jet was born feet first and I will never forget that long, long tail curling around his hocks! Jet's destiny is herding, and he's a natural. From a very early age, Jet showed an aptitude as a big out-runner—at four weeks old he would strike out on solo tours of the perimeter of the house. A large dog with loads of presence, Jet is a powerhouse on stock. He is trained and handled in herding by Molly Wisecarver, who finished his started A course sheep title with placements at the July 2010 New Mexico trial. Jet is a sweet dog who loves every person, cat, bird, horse, dog, pig and pine-cone-tossing toddler that he meets.

CH. DesertShore Luck of the Irish
"Oscar"

Owned and loved by the Hattersley Family, Oscar finished his championship easily at 2 years of age on the Spring '09 Montana Circuit. He gained his first points in conformation shown by junior handler Becky, and was finished by Becky's mom, Carolyn. Oscar is looking forward to a future in agility and stock work. Oscar is a flashy dog of good size, with a great coat, a lovely head, his mother's melting expression and correct movement. He lives on 20+ mountainous acres with a variety of critters and friends around the farm, and travels into town at every opportunity. He is an outgoing, energetic dog who is greatly beloved by his family.

CH. DesertShore Celtic Spirit, CD
Brady
Owned and loved by Monica and Rob Haines of Phoenix, AZ

Besides being THE easiest dog to live with, Brady is an eye-grabbingly pretty dog. He has his mother's striking good looks and classic markings, along with some of his sire's smooth style. He is a typey, flashy, short-coupled dog with a lovely long coat, great angles, nice bone and overall moderate size. Breeder-handled in the conformation ring, Brady finished locally with three majors at 2 years of age. He was Select Dog at the BCCAZ 2011 Supported Entry for a 5pt major towards his GCH. Brady and Monica are currently working towards his CDX. They finished his CD in three legs with placements in early 2010. Rob and Brady are working on his Rally titles. Brady is an avid retriever of pretty much everything, and he loves to tug. He is an easy-going guy with a sweet nature who lives to please. We're excited to get Brady on stock as his busy schedule permits.

DesertShore Wilde Irish Charm, PT, HSAs,
Gigit

Gigit is her momma's shadow here at DesertShore, and has big shoes to fill. She lives up to her name with unerring enthusiasm—she utterly charming and a bit wild! Gigit is a darkly marked girl, with a trademark right white glove—a feature her sire, Shep, has given several of his daughters. She favors her sire's original breed type, as well as his style on stock. She is a natural worker and while her has training suffered in my maternity gap, Gigit has been in herding stride in 2011, finish up her started A sheep title with back-to-back RHITs, owner trained and handled, of course. She is a natural retriever and one of the smartest and most attentive dogs I have ever met. I have never met a dog with a waggier tail, either. Barely able to keep her tail under wraps, Gigit has 10 points and both majors in conformation, and won the BBE bitch class at the 2010 Border Collie Club of Greater Los Angeles Regional Specialty. I just adore my Gigit-monkey, and look forward to all of the adventures that await us!

DesertShore Celtic Magick, NA, NAJ, RN
Roxy
Roxy is owned and loved by Cindy Hogan of Phoenix, AZ.

Roxy is our future agility SUPERSTAR. Like her sister, Roxy is an utter cutie pie, and a darkly-marked girl of a type that harkens to the breed's originals—Old Hemp, Old Kep, Jim Wilson's Roy, and a more recent ancestor and personal favorite of mine, ISDS Supreme Ch. John Thomas' Craig. Roxy has a "turn-herself-inside-out" biddable temperament with loads of drive, and gets along famously with everyone. Roxy enjoys annual summer trips with her clan to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she hikes and swims all day long with her #1 fan and dock diving trainer/handler, Cindy's daughter, Shannon Hogan. Cindy and Roxy are busy preparing for their agility debut, and we anticipate a future full of success from this sensational team!
